Tien Nguyen
Tien is an Investment Analyst at J&T Ventures, where he focuses on sourcing and evaluating early-stage technology startups across Central and Southeastern Europe, with a particular focus on markets such as Serbia, Croatia, Romania, and Bulgaria. His role includes identifying promising founders and projects, analyzing markets and business models, and supporting the investment process from initial contact through to execution.
Prior to entering venture capital, he spent several years building his own entrepreneurial projects, gaining hands-on experience in developing ventures from the ground up. He primarily focused on sales, marketing, and project management, while also building and leading small teams.
Along side his work in venture capital, he maintains a strong interest infinancial markets, which shapes his approach to risk management and probabilistic thinking.
Tien holds a degree in Finance and Banking from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. In his free time, he trains Muay Thai, where he develops discipline and mental resilience.
